How to Cancel Your Files.fm Subscription

If you no longer need your Files.fm paid plan, you can cancel its automatic renewal through your account. Here’s how to find your subscription and check that it has been cancelled.

Cancel your subscription online

Sign in to the Files.fm account associated with your subscription.
Open Settings and select My Subscriptions. You can also try opening the My Subscriptions page directly after signing in.
Find the subscription you want to cancel. Open its Actions menu and choose the option to stop or cancel the subscription.
Follow the prompts. You may be asked to select a reason, leave a comment and confirm that you want to cancel.
If requested, enter your account password and complete the final confirmation.
Return to My Subscriptions and check the subscription’s status. Keep a copy or screenshot of the confirmation for your records.

Make sure you complete all the confirmation steps. According to the Failiem.lv cancellation guide, entering an incorrect password does not cancel the subscription.

If you signed up using Google, Microsoft, Facebook or Apple and need an account password, use the password reset option for your registered email address. The Failiem.lv FAQ says you can still use your third-party login afterward.

What happens after cancellation?

Cancellation stops future automatic payments. Your paid period generally continues until the end of the period you have already paid for; cancellation alone does not reverse an existing payment. Check your plan and account for the date and details that apply to you. Files.fm terms

Before your plan ends, download a backup of any important files and check what storage and features will be available afterward. The consequences of a downgrade depend on the service and account status.

Business subscriptions paid by invoice

If your business service is paid by invoice or bank transfer under an individual agreement, check that agreement for its cancellation terms. The platform’s terms say to send a request to support@failiem.lv at least 30 days in advance unless the individual agreement says otherwise. Files.fm terms
